 The days are long, but that’s what makes the night so sweet. When the world is at rest and you are alone in your corner of peace. When the troubles of the day have faded away with the sun, and the journeys of tomorrow have quietly begun. However, let’s not move too quick. Tomorrow is near and coming fast. All we want is for the sweet night to last. It doesn’t have to be long— just a few minutes longer will do. As I wish that for all your long days, there are sweet nights waiting for you.

Hello fabulous people! Hope you all are staying warm on this beautiful Wednesday, so it's officially the middle of the week and man am I glad it almost Friday. My week had been suspiciously calm (those who get it get it) like i'm waiting for the curve ball to come and knock me on my ass.  Why is that though? you know when most people are having a good week they just take it for what it is and move on. However if you are like me and find it hard to let a good week be just that then let's talk about it shall we.  Truthfully I don't have all the answers but I feel like for those of us who are high wired and always kept on our toes when it's time to relax or have a moment of peace it's so hard to enjoy it. Life seem to be constantly throwing us through a loop, you know for me personally it's hard to let my guard down even when i'm having a good time because of past experiences.  It just seem like everytime I can exhale and loosen up for a second this strong ...

Why are you still everywhere I look? Hiding in all the corners of my life. Creeping along the borders of my sanity, words I've wished to hear you speak spoken by strangers— words that could be easily said. You just chose silence instead. I still see you in my mind hoping that it's enough this time. Enough to know the love we shared. Enough to know you once cared— even if this is no longer the truth. I know the stars hold my time with you. Someday soon you will become a ghost of my past. Now I know not all love is meant to last.
