Before Tomorrow Arrives

 The days are long,

but that’s what makes the night so sweet.
When the world is at rest
and you are alone
in your corner of peace.

When the troubles of the day
have faded away with the sun,
and the journeys of tomorrow
have quietly begun.

However, let’s not move too quick.
Tomorrow is near and coming fast.
All we want
is for the sweet night to last.

It doesn’t have to be long—
just a few minutes longer will do.
As I wish that for all your long days,
there are sweet nights
waiting for you.

 Hello, fabulous people! I have missed you all, so sorry for going MIA. Between work and getting my life back on track, I fell into autopilot; however, I am back now.   First things first, happy February to all the lovers out there! We are only on day three of this cold weather; however, it is still one of my favorite months.  It's hard not to be in the spirit for Valentine's Day. I understand how it can be a little intimidating for those who are single, seeing couples celebrate and shove their love in your face. Good thing you have me here to take the intimidation away. Generally, Valentine's Day focuses on couples and things of that nature. However, it's easy to forget that you can show yourself love and those you care about. It doesn't have to be a romantic situation for you to feel special!!  I remember growing up, and every year on Valentine's Day, my mother would surprise my siblings and me with baskets filled with candy and gifts.
