are the weirdest of feelings.

Not all days are bad—
most are good—
but the ways of healing
are often misunderstood.

There are no winners;
this race is yours alone—
a race made to face
all the you’s you’ve tried to replace.

Healing can’t be put on a clock;
more often than not,
that’s when the healing stops.

Take your time.
Let your heart grieve.
Grieve all that you’ve lost
so it’s easier to breathe.

Acknowledge the pain
so you can find relief.
Keep choosing yourself—
and you will find peace.
